India GST Invoicing turns WHMCS into a billing system an Indian hosting company can file GST from. Customers in your own state are charged CGST + SGST, customers in other states IGST, and customers abroad nothing — with the right words on the invoice for each.

A real GST tax invoice

The invoice PDF carries your GSTIN and state, the buyer's GSTIN, place of supply, the SAC code on every line, CGST and SGST (or IGST) per line and in the totals, the amount in words, the reverse-charge line and your LUT note on export invoices. Unpaid invoices say Proforma Invoice; once paid they become a Tax Invoice.

Set up in four clicks

Enter your GSTIN, then on the addon page: Write GST rules (every state and union territory, the right split for your home state), Mark all taxable, Install template and Apply numbering. Invoice numbers follow the financial year — INV/2627/1 — and restart at 1 every 1 April on their own.

A mistyped GSTIN is caught on the order and profile forms: format, state code and check digit, and whether it belongs to the state in the customer's address — the mistake that otherwise puts the wrong tax on every invoice.

Pick a month and download two CSVs: every invoice (B2B, B2C, export; place of supply; taxable value, IGST, CGST, SGST) and the SAC-wise summary for table 12. Proforma, cancelled and add-funds invoices are left out.
