PayTabs for Webasyst Shop-Script connects your store to PayTabs, the payment gateway for the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Oman, Jordan, Kuwait, Qatar, Iraq and Morocco. Customers pay by card, mada, Apple Pay, STC Pay and the other methods enabled on your PayTabs profile.

Built for the current PayTabs API

The old PayTabs API (merchant e-mail and secret key, paytabs.co) has been switched off. Version 2 uses the current PayTabs API with a Profile ID and server key, and talks to the server of your own region.

Hosted page or embedded form

Send the customer to the secure PayTabs page, or embed the payment form in your order page so they never leave your site. Either way, card details are typed into a form served by PayTabs and never touch your server. The page opens in English or Arabic to match your storefront, and the address step can be skipped because the order details are sent along.

Refund from the order screen

Refund in full or in part from the Shop-Script order screen. If you prefer to authorize first, capture the money or release the hold from the same screen.

Orders are marked paid reliably

PayTabs notifies your store server-to-server, so the order is marked paid even if the customer closes the browser before returning. Every notification is checked by signature and then confirmed with PayTabs directly; the order id, amount and currency must all match before anything is marked paid.

Set up in five minutes

Install the plugin, choose your PayTabs region, paste the Profile ID and server key, and save. The settings page tells you at once whether the keys work.

Good to know

You need your own PayTabs merchant account. Payment methods and currencies are the ones enabled on your PayTabs profile. Orders are charged in the order currency and are never converted.
