Subscriptions turns a product into something customers pay for again and again: a monthly box, a membership, a maintenance plan, a magazine, a course paid in instalments.

Works with the gateway you already have

On each renewal date the plugin creates a normal WooCommerce order and emails the customer a pay link. They pay it with whatever your store offers: cards, PayPal, UPI, bank transfer, cash on delivery. There is no card storage, no gateway add-on to buy and nothing for your payment provider to approve.

Be clear about what this is

Renewals are not charged automatically. The customer pays each renewal from the email or from their account. That suits bank transfer, UPI and invoice-style billing well; if you need silent automatic card charges, this is not that plugin.

Flexible terms

Bill every so many days, weeks, months or years. Run until cancelled or stop after a number of payments, which makes instalment plans. Add a one-off sign-up fee and a free trial. Product pages and the cart spell the terms out: "every month for 12 payments, 7-day free trial, $5.00 sign-up fee".

Looks after itself

An unpaid renewal shows as "Payment due". A reminder goes out after the days you set, and the subscription is cancelled if it stays unpaid. Paying late does not shift the schedule. Customers see their subscriptions under My account, with Pay now and Cancel.

Members-only content

A shortcode shows part of a page only to customers with an active subscription, to any product or to one in particular.
